Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

When I started painting this artwork, I needed a break from the usual theme of my paintings. I wanted a new challenge to start the year, so I started refreshing some ideas I had in my mind for a long time.

This painting is inspired by dance exhibition of the dancing school of my brother-in-law.
I wanted to represent the hugeness of space from a ballet dancer's point of view, and convey how small feel they there on the stage.

I chose to draw this with pastels to give more contrast between the dancer and the spotlights, and glitter in the lights to provide them with more life.

Materials used:

pastel pencil, pastel and glitter
