I have no idea where my obsession with eggs started, but I love to paint them and have sold quite a few fried egg paintings in the past. I've also recently become interested in creating typography and fonts, planning them out by hand like an old-school graphic designer.
So I decided to combine these two obsessions in this unique piece of poster art. It asks the eternal question, 'how do you like your eggs?' The text in this print was originally hand drawn then scanned into PhotoShop. The rest of the background and all of the colours were created digitally.
This is a limited run of 10 A4 prints, and it's on high quality C-Type paper created by The PrintSpace in East London. "Fuji Crystal Archive paper with a semi-matt finish. The paper is coated with a slightly stippled finish and gives a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour."
Imagine how cool this would look framed in your kitchen!
PLEASE NOTE: the print doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third image better shows what you'd be getting. The final image shows some of the other egg-based items in my shop!

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
