Artist's description:

The title of this painting comes from an Emily Dickinson poem. It looks like there are feathers that are interlaced. The colors are purple, white, silver, and blue. Much of it has an iridescent look, which is more apparent in the second image in you see the painting next the bookcase. The edges are painted the same color as the background, a blue-violet color.
