This original painting shows flying birds around a famous South London landmark, the Crystal Palace transmitter, known as South London's Eiffel Tower, which gives television and mobile signals to millions of people.

The iconic transmitter is surrounded by slightly surreal flying birds in purple and black tones with an abstract golden yellow/orange background, showing through 9 small apertures in the frame, and it's as if "Hitchcock Comes to Crystal Palace."

This unusual painting is formed of 9 different images, painted onto heavyweight watercolour paper and within a multi-aperture off-white mount and light coloured wooden glazed frame. Individual image sizes are (H x W):

- central image is 9 x 14 cm (3.5" x 5.5");
- 4 corner images are 9 x 6.5cm (3.5" x 2.5") ;
- 2 images are 6.5 x 9 cm (2.5" x 3.5");
- 2 images are 4 x 4 cm (1.5" x 1.5").
