Artist's description:

This semi-abstract landscape features lots of texture. I did an acrylic painting of fields and hills that was just terrible - and I used that unsuccessful painting as the base for this new one. I never waste a canvas! What ended up working well were areas where I removed the spray-paint top layer to let the old painting peak through. There's also lots of lovely texture from the acrylic base.

The spray-paints and enamel that I used for this painting vary in finish, so there are areas of high glossiness that sit nicely next to areas of matte colour. Of course I used my favourite colour pink and lots of lovely drip effects. I'm really happy with how this painting turned out and I hope you love it too!

I've photographed this piece outside in natural light as well as inside in artificial light - how it looks in images depends on your monitor settings and how it will look on your wall will depend on your light sources. I'm proud of this painting and think it looks beautiful regardless of light source.
