Artist's description:
This is an original oil painting on canvasboard. The subject matter is a landscape of a mountain meadow and lake. The palette is predominated by greens, golds and blues.
The viewer is positioned looking across a large meadow which fills the bottom three-quarters of the work. The meadow is filled with fields of wild grasses and wild flowers. At the horizon on the right is a large blue lake with a stand of pine trees extending to the left. Both are at the base of several snow capped mountains below a blue sky.
The work is in pristine condition and signed by the artist. The work is in its original frame as shown, which is a thick, ornately decorated wood one, painted in patinaed gold with a light tan linen liner.
