Artist's description:

Well, it is a whole history about this painting. I had depicted the story of my childhood, in an area full of green and kind people. There is also me there, under a tree.
This painting is a return to the happiness we used to experience in our early childhood. You know, of course that young children do not need a material reason in order to be happy. They simply are.
Marcel Duchamp opened a new door to the art as he was growing increasingly disillusioned with what he called “retinal” art — art that appealed only to the eye — and wanted to create a new kind of art, one which would engage the mind. The non-retinal art is still valuable, of course, but in time it grew very simplified and now is electronicized, videoized, computerized and more ized.
Now, there are places where the environment is totally ized, covers and tends to take control of our stretched minds. At the end of this process there is only alienation. And this is because this kind of art only addresses to our minds. I think that it is time to interfere into this world with some drops of retinal-artworks just to have some "food" for our souls. A few Mirabilist artworks in a non-retinal world.
