Artist's description:

A mixed media monotype with charcoal, pastel, and a touch of oil. This monotype is a tribute to those who persist in life regardless of the hands dealt them. It is only after I finish a piece of art that I begin to determine what it was that inspired me. My art comes out of an inner place influenced by all that I read, see, hear, think, and more. Matted and framed in a contemporary black frame, this piece fits into a small space, perfect with other abstract and contemporary figurative work.

Materials used:

Etching inks, charcoal, pastels, oil
