Artwork description:

'Hay Meadow Hush' 4/75

An original full colour lino print of a farmworker making hay in a rural landscape.

I was inspired to create this artwork after thinking how different the rural soundscape would have been before mechanised agriculture and the decline of hay meadows.

Printed by hand on 70gsm ecru coloured Bunkoshi paper with deckled edges, this relief print is limited to 75 editions and 3 artist's proofs and is hand signed, numbered and titled.

Size: H25.5cm (10”) x W25.5cm (10”) (approx.)

Although I do my best to ensure colours are represented accurately on my website, due to differences in screens, monitors and devices, actual colours may vary slightly.

Materials used:

Printing ink, Japanese paper
