I have always been fascinated by the exuberant elegance of Baroque flower arrangements, with beautiful vases overflowing with flowers and fruit in bright colours, and I have tried to give it my own, more modern and playful interpretation.
The colours are those of my palette: bold and bright against a soft blue background and the composition expands beyond the limits of the canvas, which seems unable to fully contain the explosion of tulips and peonies, lemons and pomegranates, grapes and violets, hydrangeas and poppies.
Beauty, abundance and joy are to be savoured with the right slowness, as the little snail seems to suggest.
Only in this way will we be able to recognise in ourselves and preserve a happy spirit forever.
Acrilyc painting on canvas (60x70 cm).
The painting also extends to the side edges of the canvas.
The work is signed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
