Original artwork description:

This collage is made on a fabulous fabric which has a really warm linen look to it - very Scandinavian! The jug is made from a thick cream canvas fabric and the red ribbon came from a vintage ribbon shop on Portobello Road in London. I have also decorated the jug with some embroidery. The squares at the bottom gives an idea of a table cloth and is from a 1920's Joie de Toile fabric that I bought on a market here in France. The white flowers are made of white linen and the leaves are from a warm green cotton fabric. I have stitched each flower petal and leaf individually with a contrasting black thread to give everything depth. I have then used white gouache to give the flowers a really bright lustre. This is a really warm and cheery collage that would brighten any space!

The collage is backed with white linen and it has a channel with a dowel at the top so it is ready to hang. Alternatively, the collage can be framed.

I have embroidered my signature on the front of the collage.
