Artwork description:

A residency in Michigan brought me closer to nature, open fields of goldenrod and tons of mosquitos.
Hands are a subject matter I come to regularly, their character and expression, just shy of sign language. I am often described as talking with my hands, I use them to gesture or emphasize.
This piece has my favorite shade of blue at the time. Geometry combined with natural organic references of the golden rod and the hands organic movement.

Materials used:

embroidery floss, fabric mounted on canvas
