In my childhood, on long winter evenings, my mother was engaged in needlework. She knitted for the family from natural wool. Various threads, of all colors, big and small, were woven into products. These balls always seemed to me magical.
This original Ukrainian still life with yarn reminds me of my childhood. Embroidered towel emphasizes the atmosphere of this composition.
The picture is authentic. Created with inspiration and thoughts about home, about Ukraine.

While doing the work I used natural oil paints based on natural pigments. During the work I added damar varnish and linseed oil.

Natural cotton canvas, fine texture, stretcher made of solid natural pine wood. Gallery stretching of the canvas. The baguette frame and elements for fastening are not included.

The technique of painting is author's. The layers of paint are thin. The ends of the product are covered with paint according to the image on the canvas. The covering varnish was used.
