Normally I paint mainly seascapes and landscapes but every so often I veer to something totally different and it occured to to me when I was out walking recently that although I love to see cows grazing in the field I had never painted them. So, time to remedy that. Cattle always always look so contented but I particularly like the Highland breed so here is Hamish, a real favourite with his shaggy coat hanging over his eyes!
