Original artwork description:

Every odd year, hundreds of European sailing boats come to the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany for a festive parade in a majestic landscape.
The natural pigments of tempera on a brushed, sanded and washed plaster background evoke the surface of old manuscripts and nautical charts. Regattas of traditional sailboats and tall ships establish a link between eras, making us feel closer to our seafaring ancestors, to the time when the globe was still to be discovered.
The mains colours of this seascape painting are light blue, cerulean, white, ochre and yellow. This large marine will be perfect for your dining room, hall or leaving room.

Materials used:

Tempera, Acrylic
