Artist's description:

▶︎Behind the Scene Creative Journey

'Grey Area' is the 6th artwork in an ongoing series of 10 environmental art pieces that I have created. This series is heavily inspired by comparative satellite images of earth taken from the space , capturing drastic environmental changes over time due to the warming climate. I have experimented with various forms of acrylic paints, combined with a few Golden and Liquitex texture mediums, to create these interesting, abstract, robust, authentic, and fragmental environmental-themed artworks, of the fragile planet we ought to preserve.

'To waste, to destroy our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed.' Theodore Roosevelt

The original is sold unframed and it can be hung as is. However, if you prefer to frame the original artwork and give it a finished look on your gallery wall, the turquoise blue-greenish tone is quite versatile when it comes to pairing with a wide range of picture frames. It'd match well with a traditional gold frame. A simple black or white frame would bring out a tranquil and minimalistic feel. Or choose a bright yellow frame to give it a more contemporary finish. No matter what your choice is, this is definitely going to be an amazing accent décor art for your space, and a great conversation piece to own.
