Artist's description:

Gyotaku of green sea turtle and two butterflyfish. In the US, sea turtles are a protected species that does not allow me to use the real animal. Therefore I used a replica of the turtle to print but the butterflyfish are from real fish.
I use archival oil etching ink in the traditional Japanese method to indirectly print the turtle and butterflyfish on black cotton.
Tropical fish hang around sea turtles and feed off of anything that seems delicious that the turtle stirs up. The fish can also clean the turtle's carapace.
