This work represents a clearing in the forest, which took my eye because of the contrast between the glittering light scattered in small spots in the foreground, and the dark shades of different nuances of green spread in the background.
It was in fact the dreamy and mysterious atmosphere the place emanated that I intended to catch.
It is made on pastel special paper, with pastel colors and, in order to prevent erasing, it has a layer of blown fixative.
The drawing is already fixed with paper glue on a black pass-par-tout (a larger and thicker paper in proportional dimensions with the drawing), so that is ready to be framed. But if you prefer another color for the pass-par-tout, it can be removed and replaced.
However, for artistic reasons and for better keeping and transportation, I consider to be safer to reinforce the drawing this way.
