Skiers, snowboarders, telemarkers and monoskiers unite in this race that has been running since 1992. The competitors form teams of two and have to pass through the check points along the course together for the best score. It's intense and wonderful to watch even if my boss sat me on a recent avalanche spot solo to get the best photographs of the event. Edition of 30 on handmade cotton rag paper.
The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidise to create Prussian Blue images.
Can have a white box frame for an additional price- please enquire if interested.
Materials used:
100% handmade white Cotton-Rag paper 250gsm, ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide, water, photo negative
