The next number in this Edition is 3/20
This serendipitous image was made in 1976. Whilst shooting an advert which involved the 'Something Original' graffiti near to South London's famous Nunhead Cemetery this bunch of lads turned up and asked "can we be the picture mister?" The advert is long forgotten but this shot has always been a favourite in my portfolio and now, 40 years later, it is available as a Limited edition print.
Incidentally, the wall was on the end of a terrace of houses which were demolished the very next day. In 2014 the images was spotted on FlickR by one of the lads who got in touch with me and has since located at least one of his old pals from the photograph.
(Shot on grainy Tri-X with a Hasselblad 500c with 80mm lens - image cropped to 3:2)
Please Note: All my limited editions are printed by one of London's leading fine art labs onto Hahnemühle German Etching paper using archival inks. The fine art print is matt in appearance and the paper is like heavy art paper being 310 gsm. Shiny 'C' type prints are not available at this time as most collectors consider these to be of inferior quality.
Also note that my equipment is calibrated from camera right through to the print process so unless you are using a fully calibrated monitor the colors of your Limited Edition are very likely to be slightly different than it appears on your own screen.
Shipping price includes all packaging costs.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the artwork.
