Koroush Namazi is particularly known for his urban impressions, in which he mostly depicts fictional urban spaces populated by stylized people who are clearly recognizable as individuals. In the context of anonymous high-rise facades, urban temples and overflowing shopping arcades, he thematizes the different positions of modern city dwellers who, on the fine line between spiritual fulfilment and material irrelevance, try to give meaning and content to their lives in the "urban jungle".
