An abstract painting that started out as a horizontal piece. Something wasn't right. I turned it vertically added a third linear on the diagonal and voila....it was complete. On a black background I combined red oxide with metallics and got a most pleasing result. Lots of medium was used to get the necessary texture. Lots of depth that force the metallics to pop. The photo doesn't do this work justice as it is quite difficult to photograph metallics.
