I wanted to get a feeling of summer in this painting. Thre feeling of the sun drenching the landscape, how the wamth of the day seemed to sit heavily
and an overall sence of drowsy isolation. This is one of my favourate feelings, where nothing else impinges and the husstle and busstle of every day life receeds.
I hope I have manage d to convey some of these thoughts and feelings in this painting.
