Sculpture by Alan Harris British artist, paintings, oils, watercolours, pastel, mixed media and sculptures, landscapes, portraits, nudes, expressionism, contemporary art, modern art, figurative paintings, abstract paintings, conceptual art.
These sculptures explore , the Expression of Emotions highlighted by the brutalist art style developed by French-Swiss architect Le Corbusier.
Brutalism rather than being easy on the eye it is more antagonistic and even hostile, in this case as an expression of old and decadence although keeping the feeling of beauty of time over the object.
The materials for this sculpture are opposite in their variety of tensions and qualities. however they have been combined in a kind of form that grew achieving harmony with the material.
