This painting was one that just popped into my head on a random occasion like some of these do. But what was really fun about it, was the night I completed this painting. I was out with my horse in one of the paddocks during sunset, and two goldfinches appeared and were hanging out in some of the tall grasses and flowers. I couldn’t help but giggle at the fact that I painted something that I would see that evening.

Unfortunately, a very ironic thing happened to this piece. A bird flew in the window and knocked over my easel into this painting. It had a small puncture in the mid to lower left side. It has been patched and painted. Hardly visible unless you look for it. Price reduced due to the imperfection.
