Original artwork description:

New: this is a brand new series of abstract landscapes on a deep edged canvas. Abstract expressionist artworks on 100% cotton canvas stretched over a deep wooden frame. No extra framing is required and the painting is ready to hang as soon as you unpack it.

Inspiration: Recently, Scotland was declared 'the most beautiful country in the world'. I'm not sure by whom, but I must agree. It's my No1 favourite place. Rugged and graceful. Shrouded in mystery, steeped in history. With a huge welcoming heart that never fails to say 'make yourself at home'. On our precious visits we have always taken time to absorb and record the landscape. The coastlines, the lochs and the poetically glorious Glens.
This series of artworks are an homage to 'the spirit of the Glen'. Wild, beautiful and magnificent. Enjoy the escape.

Over a heavily textured base I applied multiple black, white, grey colour washes with yellow ochre and old gold accents.

I have 15+ years experience of shipping artworks worldwide. Your painting will be carefully packaged using high quality thick bubble wrap, corrugated card and an outer double-walled cardboard carton that is very strong for the ultimate protection.

UK shipping is free. I can ship worldwide - please just ask for a quote.
