Artist's description:

Spring in theHighlands can notoriously offer four seasons in one day, so there is often snow about. In April these deer were sheltering from a snow shower in the copse by Derry Lodge. They were about 150 metres away. They looked at me, I looked at them and sat down so as not to disturb them. Eventually I decided to go on and the deer ran back across the river, but the image was created in my mind.
