"Young woman on the meadow"
I was enchanted by the pose of this girl with the blanket on her legs, she seemed to be resting and at the same time being very attentive to sense the wonder of the spring day around her. So I imagined juxtaposing her with a small river with bubbling water. Thus the brisk water of the current seems to give voice to the tumult of the young woman's thoughts.
The paint was exhibited at the group show: “46 th Sulmona Prize”. Patronage of the Council of Ministers, the Presidency of the Senate of the Republic and the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies. Vittorio Sgarbi, President.
The painting is a diptych whose total measurement in cm is 90 cm x 45 cm. The two canvases are joined at the back and have a strip that frames them together, it can be hung like this or you can frame it.
