Original artwork description:

A man with impressive muscles standing, a headless torso. For this painting I used Bristol Board which allowed me to explore the way that watercolour sits on a very smooth paper surface. I love the shapes that formed with the drying of the paint and the golds and greys which I worked around the abdominal muscles.
