The color symbolism of the painting:
1. The portrait is made in the colors of the national flag.
2. Black coat color symbolizes self-denial, sacrifice for the sake of the idea.
3. Yellow - the sun, the truth.
4. White - the purity of thoughts and feelings.
5. Violet - aristocratic.
6. Green - American nature, the land, whose son was and is George Washington.
