Artist's description:

When attending Bournemouth College of Art and Design on a short course to do with computer aided design in 1985, one of the programs I used was called Cubicom. This was a 3D digital art program (now obsolete of course) which I spent hours on during the day and getting thrown out of the College late at night. It was so interesting, being able to manipulate them within the 3D world, playing around with different shapes and rendering them with different colours etc. Unfortunately the course came to an end, but I still have many original printouts from the computer program, from which this Geometrical Abstract 1 is derived. It is my intention to create more of these abstract paintings from these computer studies.

Materials used:

Paper, oil pastels, coloured inks
