This geometric design was hand printed on a very pale blue/grey paper using Lino and hand mixed light brown waterbased printing ink. The flower was carefully cut out using Lino cutting tools. Once dry, I used watercolour pencils and gold and silver ink were painted on top. A Rotring pen was also used to add black ink lines. When the painting is put near light, the gold and silver ink shine.
This is one of several prints using the same Lino plate. Different coloured inks and paper were used for each print, so all look different and are unique.
Some small ink or water marks may be noticeable on some prints due to being hand printed, these can be covered if wished by a mount.
