In the middle of a lovely warm day here in Australia, something about it triggered memories of me as a child back in England on a lovely Summers day blowing dandelions in a field and watching the seeds blow away in the breeze. How peaceful and innocent everything appeared then. This strong memory compelled me to want to paint exactly that.
Experimenting with different styles, I wanted the painting to ooze tranquility, calm and peace. To me, these words reminded me of Zen and the typical serenity that it brings. This in turn, led to my colour palette of greens, whites and black that are commonly known with Zen.
Bold in colour yet simple in design, I feel this piece would bring calm and tranquility to any home.
I believe that the back of the canvas deserves a little attention too. Therefore, I back all my canvases which I believe adds to the presentation giving them a more professional feel combined with being hooked and wired, ready to hang.
Please note that my delivery costs, although researched, are estimates. I am still researching options and will certainly reimburse any over and above costs for P&P that may have been paid by a buyer upon purchasing a painting, should P&P at the time, work out cheaper. I hope that makes sense!
