“Genetic Flavors” is a luminous painting on canvas 38x46 cm. In this abstract landscape, constituting a surreal sky and earth, JL Lacroix has put our ephemeral fingerprints. The artist has overlaid various layers of color, composed of shades of deep ultramarine blue and turquoise, gilded in places with gold leaf. Then sanded with delicacy, he lets them appear one by one in order to obtain fades in the colors, and has included a fine frieze to energize the work.
Abstraction. Acrylic and gold leaf. The painting has been covered with three coats of high quality anti-UV varnish.
Unique piece signed "JlL" below right with a stamp on the back. Certificate of authenticity.
All artworks are carefully packed with thick polystyrene and reinforced cardboard layers for a delivery in optimal conditions.
The artist is listed in the Akoun and ArtPrice sales guides, as a French sculptor and painter (2500€ in 2021), and his work is regularly presented at the Hotel Drouot in Paris, at "Créations Contemporaines" (Tessier & Sarrou study). The last online sale happened in November 2020.
