Gemini is a contemporary painting using abstract expressionist techniques juxtaposed against fine art detail. The painting is full of dynamic energy and texture. Gemini has been created using free movement of fluid paint to define the shape of the Leopards then enhanced with strong palette knifed areas of colour. Bold strokes of oil paint represent the patterned coat of the twin cats whilst small gold flecks add depth and interest to the painting. The painting is opulent and vivid and captures dignity in the leopards pose.
