Original artwork description:

This original painting was created en plain air at Gate's Pass, in Tucson, AZ. This particular piece captures the setting sun as it pierces the clouds near the horizon - a particularly bright and colorful view, which from my perspective created a blurred effect. In this one I was really interested in capturing that warm, fuzzy feeling of sitting there in the January, desert air. It was the perfect temperature, as I was watching this gorgeous sunset unfolding before me.

Painting is matted, framed and ready to hang. Antique, gold leaf frame.

Materials used:

watercolor
