This original artwork measures 24 x 33 cm framed.

All art is illusion and illusion isn't what it seems. Although the works in this series are of modest scale , they, curiously, suggest, imply, almost monumental proportions. What strange witchcraft is afoot?

The series includes mixed media pieces using acrylic paint, oil pastels and / or tape and collage in different combinations.

We are somewhere between literature and painting; word and form. Somewhere straddling the specific and the global. Somewhere between Borges and Vonnegut, Rodchenko and Malevich.

The work is framed, as are we all.
