Original artwork description:

This alabaster sculpture depicts a rolling motion to emulate a wave rolling and breaking - one side is left natural while the other has been carved to a fine edge. With the light shining behind, part of the sculpture is translucent, much as the light shines through the uppermost crest of a wave.. This is part of the Waters series I was working on in 2018 describing movement in water.

Materials used:

Alabaster, sycamore wood
