Artist's description:

Collectible series of watercolor illustrations.

Original watercolor painting on a textured handmade cream colored paper.

Painting #2 from the Funny Sheep series.

When i was a kid I loved to spend summers in my grandparents' village. They had cows, sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs. My first paintings were animals. One of my first pets was the black lamb that you can see on the picture. I have very sweet memories about that time. Later I had a hen, an aquarium, canary and budgies. Kesha, an old white-blue budgie was not just a pet, but a friend. They say that female budgies are not trainable. Kesha was a genius. She could speak, tell poems and sing songs. Now I have two wonderful cats. They are best friends.
I love to paint animals. The Funny Sheep is a collectible series of watercolor paintings in illustrative style. I was inspired with a very nice and recognizable appearance of Suffolk sheep and Gotland Pelt. They are black-faced sheep with dark legs. My Funny Sheep is a mix of those breeds. I see it like that :)

The artwork has deckle edges. It is recommended to use a float mounting.

Please note that the colors of the original paintings are always slightly different than it appears on monitors.
