This is an ORIGINAL one of a kind abstract contemporary color field painting with layers of acrylic paint. It is part of a new series called "Abrasion", a series of small-scale paintings using scrape and scratch techniques with leftover acrylic paint. It was painted on canvas then mounted on a 1.5inch deep wood panel.
Small paintings are the perfect collection starter. Imagine curating your own art collection as a means of personal expression to reflect your individual personality.
I use professional grade acrylics with high quality color pigments that have very good to excellent resistance to fading. All my paintings are finished with two coats of varnish to enhances the intensity, transparency and luminosity of colors and to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust.
This painting was featured in the "Abstracts" collection here on Artfinder! (https://www.artfinder.com/editors-picks/catalogue-abstracts/?page=2)
