Artist's description:

Every year when I was little I would go to my grandmas. She lived in the village high in the mountains and had an apricot garden. We would collect the apricots and then make all sorts of tasty things with them: juices, jams, pies. And most of the time the table in the kitchen would look like this. Every time I look at it, it gives me a feeling of nostalgia for these lovely summer days.
.
This still life is done on primed cardboard in mixed media technique. I used acrylic, watercolor, soft pastels and gold leaf to create it.
It is best to keep all artwork involving soft pastels framed with a mat under glass.

Materials used:

Acrylic, watercolor, soft pastels, gold leaf
