Artist's description:

...and freedom was her nature!

I have only been properly using Instagram for a few months now. One thing that has come to my attention is censorship. While I get the need for some censorship it seems that there are double standards when it comes to nudity. Not just between men and woman but also dependant on social status. I've noticed how some celebrities seem to completely disregard rules on lewd posts and face no repercussions. Whereas, other people with only a few followers are penalized for minor offences. This can be in the form of forced removal of a post or deletion of an account. Additionally, when it comes to art, Instagram community guidelines say nudity in paintings and sculptures is OK and yet there are numerous stories of artworks being taken down for being indecent/obscene. Its become quite common to see Emojis strategically placed over certain images in order to make a post comply with the rules so in this piece the Emojis are actually part of the painting.
