This painting perfectly illustrates my painting process, based on paraeidolia.

Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists. Common examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, the man in the moon, the moon rabbit...

For this painting, I wanted a vegetal atmosphere. On the white canvas, I made light spots, with a liquid, transparent paint. No model, no sketches. And, in the random spots on the canvas, I made coming out the elements that could be foliage or flowers. This is how I built this work up to its final appearance.

I love the complexity of natural forms, nestings hazardous, the richness of all green colors. Nature is fascinating for a painter, even when it's an imaginary nature ! I like the huge effect of this large size painting. Perfect for a living room, or a hall. A huge piece of nature in your home.

This is a one of a kind painting, signed on the front. The artwork is ready to hang with a system on the back. The artwork continue on the edges. As edges are painted : no need frame.

This artwork will be sent in a cardboard box, protected with glassine acid free, plastic film, protections of corners, several coats of bubble wrap and foam board.
