Original artwork description:

The aim of this painting is to give a feeling of lightness, ease, freedom, fun, easy going, fun again, innocence and yet more fun! I'm sure many adults can relate to the feeling of succumbing to the day grind. Sometimes we just need to let it all go; jump, fly, shout, cry, run, be free, shake away all the "heavy" weighing us down.

Those who know my work know I'm a huge fan of white space, for the simple reason that a background would detract from the feeling I want to be portrayed. If you could see the rock that this child was jumping off, or the beautiful turquoise sea that he was jumping into, or his Dad waiting for him in the water, the narrative would be totally different.

My work is 100% original, I take the photographs myself (with permission of course where children are involved), they are not plucked from the internet so no one else will have a similar piece of work to you.
