When you are in Italy, you usually want to paint everything in sight. I ended up painting some, sketching some and only manage to take some pictures. This was one such image that called out to me, but since I had none of my materials in hand, I had to just do with taking a picture. I finally got around to painting it and boy was it fun!
This Italian cityscape is painted in a very loose impressionistic style with bold and vibrant brushwork. The painting is energetic and will draw the viewer in.
Is it too early to usher in the holiday season? Anyway, since 2016 seems to be just whizzing by, it won't be long before the season is here. As a gift to my collectors, you get a gorgeous black and gold frame with this painting. It will be shipped just ready to hang or ready to gift to your special someone.
I have captured the colours in the painting as accurate as I could, but I always say they are way better in person. This painting is one of my absolute favourites this season. So what are you waiting for?
Any questions, just write in! :-)
