Original artwork description:

I love foxgloves, they have a very English countryside feel, but are also a bit creepy (in my view!). This is a painting of some from my garden, using Derwent Graphik Line Painters (which are acrylic painting pens). I had great fun experimenting with them as I produced this painting.

The painting is on Bockingford very pale blue watercolour paper. The first image is a photo while the second is a scan. On my computer, the colours are truer in the first.

Materials used:

Acrylic on very pale blue Bockingford watercolour paper
