Artist's description:

This picture is part of my "Human In Motion" series and it has been created out of a variety of ideas of how to visualize motion as a picture, and it shows my final approach of it.
In first place I was inspired by the artist, Marcel Duchamp, who created the "Nude descending a Staircase", showing the motion of a women by capturing her movement at different times. Fascinated by the almost graphical way, I started out a research on how to present a human motion.
"I wanted to create an visual impression using nowadays technology used in movies, a way of how we look and create things these days."
The picture is showing the motion of a ballet dancer which has been captured around 240 times per second. Combining all this captures resulted in this image.

Materials used:

Fuji Flex, a.k.a. super-gloss, has a plastic feel to the paper with a warm base colour and an ultra high gloss finish, giving luxurious rich colours.
