Welcome to our world of art.
This small painting on thick rag paper has a glassy, wet quality. It has been worked into with a scalpal and overlaid with both opaque and gloss medium. It has a jewel-like reflective nature - resonating with feelings of being in the mountains. The turquoise sings out of the piece. My lovely framer expertly float-mounted this piece to show off the thickness and organic quality of the paper. Museum standard glass has been used allowing for almost no reflection and ensuring the piece has UV protection. This piece can be displayed landscape or portrait.
