Artist's description:

Continuing my explorations into hard edged abstraction, I again worked intuitively with no set plan. I started by drawing mostly trapezoidal shapes in pencil and then started to mix acrylic paint, gesso and matte medium. Masking off areas, painting and repainting and tweaking colors one against the others suggesting "folds" The one underlying theme in most of my work seems to be color, So it looks like I'm a colorist at heart. The painting is titled, signed and dated on the reverse. The paint wraps around the sides, so it is ready to hang as is.
