"There's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away." - Sarah Kay
This peaceful little painting is a powerful blend of acrylic paints, graphite, gesso and Joss paper on 140# watercolor paper, finished with 2 coats of protective UV satin varnish.
Very abstract in a minimalistic style, this beauty has pops of orange, green, turquoise, yellow and red underneath thin layers of vanilla; umber and gray celadon. "Blades" of grass are scratched through the paint, and bits of deep yellow metallic gold from the Joss paper shines through at just the right angle.
This painting measures 5" x 7" and comes matted in a white mat measuring 11" x 14" - ready for you to mount in the frame of your choice.
There is a mate to this painting called "Grassy Beach" which is also listed on Artfinder. And please note I always discount on purchases of multiple paintings!
